Role Overview & Responsibilities

WB Employment are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives in Avonmouth. We are looking for permanent members of staff to start as soon as possible. The vacancy is working in a chilled clean-room environment with approximate temperatures of 5 to 10 degrees.

Location: Avonmouth, BS11

Working days and times:

· Monday to Friday 5AM – 2PM or 2.30PM to 10.30PM

· Pay rate: guaranteed £13 per hour plus bonuses

Duties:

· Weighing and slicing cooked meat

· Packing of cooked meat products

· Other production duties

· You will be required to wear a hair net, overalls, hi vis vest, safety shoes and a face covering during your shift.

You will be working around meats such as Pork, Chicken and Beef. The environment is busy with room temperatures of 5 to 10 degrees.

Knowledge:

· Experience of working within food environment

· Food Hygiene qualifications would be beneficial but not essential.

- Experience handling knives and slicing meat

- Food production

· Good understanding of English, both written and spoken
