We are currently hiring a Teaching Assistant who care about the future of education. We are seeking an individual to provide support for pupils, the teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement and to encourage pupils to become independent learners. To provide support for their welfare, and to support the inclusion of students in all aspects of school life.

You will work directly with classroom teachers, and other teaching assistants and will be responsible for creating innovative lesson plans, performing classroom duties, and creating student reports based on evaluations.

Responsibilities:

• Teach new material to students in a classroom.
• Help students improve in areas such as reading, writing, or mathematics.
• Provide a warm and welcoming environment for students in the classroom.
• Motivate and progress students' learning by using clearly structured, interesting approaches
• Be aware of and support difference and ensure all students have equal access to opporutnities to learn and develop

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 31.15 per week

Salary: £11.59-£11.79 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Northampton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
