Role Overview & Responsibilities

Security Operations Centre (GSOC Team Leader)
Shift pattern: 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off
Location: Hybrid - City of London on day shifts and home working on night shifts
Salary: £36,000

Would you like to work at a GSOC in the City of London monitoring company offices across the region?

Supervising a dedicated security team you will be overseeing a range of systems including: CCTV, Access control, remote monitoring and alarm systems. You will monitor offices across the globe, assess security threats, respond to incidents and support the travel risk function. You will also undertake general security duties at the London office.

Applicants must have SOC experience, managing and responding to security alarms, incidents and escalations, fault finding and reporting

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

• Previous security operations centre (SOC) experience.
• Experience operating CCTV and access control systems. Experience with C-Cure 9000 would be an advantage.
• The ability to lead/supervise a small team
• Happy working a mix of days, nights & weekends
• SIA License holder

Responsibilities:

• Operation of the control room security systems in a professional manner
• Monitoring CCTV and remote monitoring systems
• Operation of access control systems
• Security incident management and response
• Monitoring offices globally
• Supporting the travel risk management function
• Responding to emergency situations in a professional manner
• Liaise with emergency services when required
• Respond and remain vigilant to threats such as terrorism
• Produce comprehensive written incident reports
• Manage crisis situations in a confident and calm manner
• Monitor and activate access control systems
• Respond to general queries
