About us

The White Swan is a busy restuarant/pub in Southampton that offers carvery and a grill menu 7 days a week as well as unlimted carvery breakfast every morning.

We are family friendly throughout and dog friendly in our bar and outside areas.

We do get extremely busy so applicants need to be up for a challenge and thrive in pressured situations. Due to selling of alochol applicants need to be over the age of 18.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated candidate with a background in
restuarant management to help supervise our waiting staff here at the White Swan. A successful candidate will be able to effectively communicate with the team, while also assisting in the organisation and development of the group. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills and a drive to help the team succeed under his or her management, and must also be able to work well with all members of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Support more junior staff members.
• Have some knowledge of the workings of a resturant and food safety.
• Help serve guests when on shift and ensure they have an enjoyable time.
• Welcoming guests and taking control of an electronic booking system.
• Be responsible for managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Opening and closing down a large resturant.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
