Role Overview & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
As a Classroom Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to create a positive and engaging learning environment for our students. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring that students' individual needs are met
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance
  • Helping to maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
  • Collaborating with teachers to create and implement educational activities
  • Supporting students during group work and independent study
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers

Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of educational practices and principles
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting (desirable)
