Apprentice Sound & Light Technician

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking a trainee Sound & Light Technician with a passion for music to join our team. The role involves loading the van before an event, setting up and then engineering the event and packing down at the end of the night. No experience is required, all training is provided. Age 16+

Must be within 10 miles of Sheffield UK.

Hours per week will vary from 0 hours to 16 hours + with an average of 10 hours per week. With an opportunity of eventual full time work.

Mainly weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Set up the sound system & lighting for live bands and events.
• Heavy lifting, A high level of physical fitness is required for this role.
• Mix sound levels for a live band/create a light show (training provided).

Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm, Freelance, Zero hours contract, Volunteer
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 8-20 per week

Salary: £300.00-£600.00 per month

Schedule:

• Every weekend
• Weekend availability
• Weekends only
