XLMedia is looking for an experienced and technically strong individual with hands-on skills across Data Engineering. Reporting to the Data Architect, the ideal candidate will be an ambitious and resilient self-starter with excellent collaboration skills.

Location:
UK - remote or hybrid


Areas of Responsibility and Accountability


  • Supports the Data Engineering Lead in the implementation and maintenance of the data architecture, and continuous development of the Single Source of Truth and Customer Data Platform
  • Expands and optimizes the current data pipeline as well as data workflows
  • Builds and improves data systems and ETL data for cross-functional teams, including audience and revenue data
  • Collaborates with data team leads to achieve common goals, such as product development
  • Is a proactive member of the data engineering team and collaborates within the team and with internal business stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
  • Has a focus on continuous improvement, creating effectiveness and efficiencies


Experience:


  • 2+ years experience in similar capacity
  • Cloud computing
  • Big data and analytics platforms

Qualifications:


First degree in computer science, information technology or other technical discipline or prior relevant experience


Knowledge and Skills:


Cloud functions, data warehouse, ETL/ELT, orchestration, complex SQL/NoSQL, Message Queues, Analytics Platforms, Python, JS

Preference: AWS, Snowflake
