Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking an individual who personally aims for excellence to be part of a small team maintaining that aims to provide an environment to be proud of for future generations to enjoy. A broad range of Estate forestry duties including tree felling, planting and maintenance are required on a daily basis.
Managing the natural resources in the Park, the successful candidate will be a hardworking individual who likes to spend much of their time working outside and is confident to work independently.
Applicants must have the following NPTC Chainsaw CS30, CS31 or equivalent. Climbing certification CS38 and CS39 are desirable but we will support an individual to achieve this if necessary. You will also require a full driving licence. Spraying certificates, PA1 and PA6, and previous experience of operating forestry tractors and forwarding trailers would be a distinct advantage.
Housing is be provided as part of the package for this role.
