A vacancy has arisen for permanent Payroll Officer to work as part of the Payroll Team.

Salary: £25,245 per annum, rising to £25,889 per annum and rising again to £26,004 per annum in two annual increments.

The Payroll Officer will assist the force with the monthly payment of approximately 2400 employees ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time.

The successful candidate will have proven payroll experience and be able to deliver a customer focused service responding to payroll queries from members of staff, providing advice and guidance to staff.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise work and to work to deadlines.

This post is being advertised as a Full Time Post however part time hours will be considered. Please note that should you work part time hours, the above listed salary will be pro rata.
