Food and Beverage Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

At Willington Hall, first class service and delicious food and drinks are every bit as important to the hotel experience as a great night’s sleep. That is why your skills in customer service, serving and presenting these are so important.

We are looking for someone:

• Who will take orders and deliver food & drinks in an efficient and friendly manner, delivering memorable customer service
• Excellent knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens and pricing
• Taking guest orders accurately and efficiently ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and Team
• Clear and set tables ready for service in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Be responsible for ensuring the mis en place for service e.g. cutlery, crockery, glassware, condiments, fruits, juices etc are re-stocked for service
• Strictly adhere to all rules relating to fire, hygiene and health & safety, as per hotel standards
• Who is available to work from 7.00am to 2pm
• With previous experience as a Front of House preferable
• own transport or reliable lift essential

Willington Hall is an independent 12 bedroom country house hotel venue located near Tarporley and just 7 miles from Chester. An array of event spaces, capable of accommodating 20 to 180 guests, for weddings, celebrations, and events. The hotel offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for restaurant, private dining, weddings, and events.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary: £9.00-£11.00 per hour
