Role Overview & Responsibilities

WATERLOO HEALTH CENTRE, SE1: RECEPTION SUPERVISOR

Due to an internal restructure, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our small friendly team as a Reception Supervisor at Waterloo Health

Centre, London SE1.

The main function of the role is to Lead and support the reception team to provide the highest standards of patient care.

IT knowledge and previous GP Practice experience is essential for this role.

Supervisory experience and medical reception experience would also be beneficial.

You will be responsible for the supporting the Operations Manager in the day to day running of the reception team which include face to face and telephone appointment bookings. You will also be responsible for the supervision and support of all reception staff ensuring that all functions are carried out in accordance with Surgery’s current procedures and protocols, ensuring the staff delivering these services are motivated, developed and supported.

Reporting to the Senior Management Team, the successful candidate will have experience of working in a customer care/reception environment and experience of working in a GP reception role and be an excellent all round communicator and possess first rate IT skills, have the ability to lead and support a team, and be a good role model for the reception team.

37 Hours per week + possible overtime

Salary: £28,500 PA
