Role Overview & Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION / SPECIFICATION

Responsible For: Warehouse Operative

Hours: Mon to Fri - 11am to 7pm

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Record receipt of goods from suppliers accurately and in accordance with company procedures.

· Put away stock in warehouse.

· Pick stock against incoming orders, accurately and efficiently.

· Pack completed orders.

· Maintain cleanliness and order of warehouse in accordance with company procedures.

· To demonstrate professional conduct at all times, recognising the importance of teamwork, building and maintaining effective working relationships with all colleagues.

· To demonstrate a positive and flexible attitude to changing priorities and procedures, including changes to tasks and business needs.

· Ability to work accurately under pressure.

· To adopt a positive view to change, taking on new tasks willingly and responding well to new methods of operation.

· To always ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures in respect of Health and Safety in the workplace and public areas.

· To carry out other duties which may be reasonably required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £10.45 per hour
