We are looking for Support Workers to Join our Team within our Residential Homes and within the Community.

As a Support Worker at our Berkshire DCA and Residential Homes in Reading you will work with people who have varying degrees of learning disabilities as well as mental health issues. Your aim is to promote their confidence and independence and support them to lead a fulfilling life. This will be incorporating in both therapy based activities and social based activities.

Some of the activities we do are:

• swimming,
• Cinema
• Bowling
• day centres,
• arts and crafts
• volunteering
• shopping
• building independent skills i.e meal prep
• cooking
• College

Throughout a typical day, you’ll help our residents with the everyday challenges. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful for your client. You’ll be out and about, enjoying life together and no single day will be the same

• Enhanced evening and weekend pay at an additional 50p per hour (Ts & Cs apply).

• 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Reading: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
