Role Overview & Responsibilities

Vincent’s Haulage Ltd are a small family haulier with over 60 years of experience based in Wigan. Vincent’s Haulage Ltd offer a wide range of logistical solutions to our clients all over the UK, with reliability, safety and low cost at the forefront of our business. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced driver to join our close-knit team. The available job role is full time and permanent.

The role:

The job role includes mainly deliveries and collection to and from construction sites and depots. Occasional nights out and weekend work are involved when required and employees receive double time pay on Sundays. Employees will be required to fill in minimal paperwork at the beginning and end of each day.

We are looking for drivers who:

· Have a positive approach and outlook

· Are confident in face-to-face dealings with customers on pick-up and delivery

· Have good communication skills and a professional delivery

• Are civil, courteous and co-operative to colleagues, clients & suppliers.

· Are flexible in approach to working hours, including nights and weekends

· Are reliable and punctual

· Are responsible for keeping their truck clean, tidy and presentable

· Have to ability to reliably commute/relocate to WN5 9AD

· Have Driver CPC

· 1 year driving experience is preferred by newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply
