Steel Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

USS Ltd located in Halesowen require a steel operative, experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided. Your duties will include the following:

• Weighing, banding and packing of slit steel coil
• Using pneumatic banding tools
• Using an overhead crane - full training for license will be provided
• Variable day time working hours, currently between 6:00 & 18:00
• Overtime may be required
• Working safely in line with the company's health and safety management system
• Long term permanent position
• Basic rate of pay is £11.00 per hour & £14.85 per hour for any overtime worked
