10 x Welders

Title: 10 X MIG Welders
Location: Wolverton, Milton Keynes

Pay rates: £27 per hour Umbrella/£65 per day in expenses dependant on location

Contract length: 18 months

Hours: Days 50 + hours per week

TXM Recruit are currently looking to put a team of Welders together for a rail client in Milton Keynes. The team will be performing corrosion removal on various fleets of rolling stock vehicles, you will need to be able to weld in the following positions.

• 2mm Fillet weld Vertical-up(PF) Position.
• 6mm Fillet weld Overhead(PD) Position.
• 6mm Fillet weld Vertical-up(PF) Position.
• 2mm Butt weld Overhead(PE) Position.
• 2mm Butt weld Vertical-up(PF) Position
• 6mm Butt weld Overhead(PE) Position.
• 6mm Butt weld Vertical-up(PF) Position.
• 1.6 Lap fillet weld

The successful candidate must:

• Be able to MIG weld to a strong standard.
• Be able to pass a rail industry standard medical and drug and alcohol test.
• Hold some form of qualification in Welding/Fabrication.
• Have own mask and gauntlets.

We have positions that are starting immediately, these will be long term contracts with plenty of overtime available.


A weld test will be required prior to start dates being offered.
