Role Overview & Responsibilities

TRM-International are proud to announce a new opportunity for Trading Assistants to join a highly regarded Engineering Finance company in their London offices. As a team member, you will have the privilege of immersing yourself in the dynamic trading realm and leveraging cutting-edge, industry leading technologies that drive the industry forward.

Trading Assistant Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and operating trading platforms which run 24/7.
• Spotting inconsistencies, errors or unusual behaviour.
• Derive valuable insights into customer, counterparty, and market dynamics.
• Maintain effective communication with traders, counterparties and trading venues on an ad hoc-basis.
• Helping troubleshoot issues that arise in the trade cycle.
• Collaborate with developers and traders to enhance the functionality and performance of the platform.

Skills to Demonstrate as a Trading Assistant:

• Education to BSc level, ideally in a mathematical or scientific subject.
• Proficient with the Microsoft stack.
• Ability to come to grips with new applications quickly.
• Mathematically minded.
• Comfortable making informed trading decisions.
• Knowledge of SQL is desired but there is the opportunity to learn on the job.

Salary: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
