Trainee Restaurant Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to assist in the day-to-day running of a busy food led pub.

The pub is part of a 3* hotel so caters for local customers but also residents of the hotel. It's an exciting time to join as we close for a full refit of this area in February and have BIG plans for the future. We are investing heavily in this area and now need to recruit the right team to drive it forward.

Our Assistant Hotel Manager will be taking the lead of managing this area of the business moving forward and we are looking for someone to support him and to lead the team/area on his days off.

Ideally, you'll come from a restaurant or hotel background, with experience of managing staff, have a passion for delivering great service and great quality food and drink and you'll have good knowledge of health and safety practices. You'll be a team player that leads by example, smart in appearance and passionate about delivering.

As with all jobs in this industry weekend and evening work is required and there may be some split shifts too.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
