Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Old Rectory, Fradswell is a rural residential care home for older people.

We are a family run care home who focus on the well-being and happiness of our employees; with employee benefits, bonus schemes, staff events, thorough training and professional development programmes.

Own transport is essential as there is no public transport
Shift pattern available will be discussed at interview - DAYSfull time 36 hours per week. OR Bank contracts available
Salary: £11.00 -£12.50 per hour

Your duties will include:

• Working as a team with other care staff
• Assisting service users with undressing, bathing and all other needs.
• Help to promote mental health and well-being of individuals through activities
• Maintain cleanliness of communal areas
• Answer call buzzers, door bells, greet visitors and professionals
• Read and write care plans and reports
• Take part in regular training and meetings

Required qualification:

• Previous experience desirable but not essential
