Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job purpose:

QAS Group Limited are a key independent supply chain provider, mainly for the spirit drinks sector. Our main service offerings are, but not limited to bottling, bottle sleeving, bonded re-work, case and carton assembly, contract packing, fulfilment, luxury and gift packing, warehousing, and transport.


Due to continued growth and investment in extending our capabilities and service offering we have the following vacancy.


The Production Operator is responsible for producing finished products and to contribute to the production line standard and targets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure operations are fulfilled to correct standard in line with customer specification.
  • Operate production line equipment if required under guidance and report any equipment line issues to Machine Operator and / or Team Leader.
  • Meet production efficiency targets set.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
  • Be flexible in their availability for over time working.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience within a production capacity preferably within a Production/FMCG environment with relevant packaging experience.
  • Good physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive work activities and movements


Personal Qualities:

  • A positive “can do” attitude
  • Good practical skills with the ability to work quickly and methodically
  • Good teamworking skills
  • Ability to concentrate and stay focused while doing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to meet targets / deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible in approach to requests for overtime if required


Hours of Work:


Day Shift Monday to Thursday – 07.45 to 17:00, Friday – 07:45 to 13:00

Night Shift Monday to Thursday – 20:30 to 07:00


Shift pattern will be discussed in interview.
