Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are hiring for BRIGHTON MARATHON!

Would you like to be part of our fantastic team, working at this exhilarating event?

Over 12,000 runners take part in the Brighton Marathon. They enjoy a course that snakes its way through the city centre and along a glorious seafront, taking in the buzzing atmosphere as thousands gather to support and cheer them on.

Your role:

- Assist in the movement of spectators. i.e. access support & queue management

- Provide a friendly face as a welcoming representative of the event

- Reduce confusion and likelihood of disorderly incidents

- Respond to situations, providing reports and taking early action

You:

- Over 18

- Available on the 2nd April

- Confident interacting with large crowds

- Friendly, presentable and a team player

- No experience necessary – Full briefing and training provided

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Salary: £9.90-£11.09 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Brighton City Centre, East Sussex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
