Primary, Social and Community Care Clinical Lead

Greater Manchester Cancer is recruiting a Primary, Social and Community Care Clinical Lead for the Greater Manchester Cancer Academy

Successful applicants will:

• provide Clinical Leadership and expertise in primary, social, and community care
• support the development of the Cancer Academy strategic plan from a primary, social and community care perspective
• lead engagement with key stakeholders across the three sectors to understand training and education gaps relating to cancer
• collaborate with partners in the development of offers education offers
• support the Greater Manchester Cancer Education Collaborative and delivery of the agreed education principles to reduce inequity around cancer education in relation to primary, social and community care
• work with colleagues across primary, social and community care to improve recruitment and retention through embedding a culture of lifelong learning

• support the Senior Responsible Officer and GM Cancer Workforce and Education team in providing clinical and managerial leadership for the delivery of the key outcomes outlined in the NHS Long Term Plan
