About us

The Carew Arms is a traditional country pub in Crowcombe, TA4 4AD. We are supportive, customer-centric and social. In the same ownership for 15 years we're passionate about running a thriving local pub with good food.

We're looking for a passionate, positive Chef / Head Chef to join our team. We're not Gastro, but not everything needs to be with chips! Accommodation can be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Run a happy kitchen that works well with the rest of the business.
  • Produce a menu which is engaging, good value, seasonal and fits with a good pub environment.
  • Be able to produce good value, local produce whilst maintaining a good GP.
  • Communicate effectively with the managers and the Front of House team to ensure consistent presentation of food that meets customer expectations.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen in accordance with EHO regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £27,563.04-£31,512.36 per year
