Post Office Clerk/ Retail Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

To provide an efficient and effective service to all our customers, understanding their needs and promoting our services and products at all times. Duties include cash withdrawals/deposits, cheque deposits, inland mail/international mail, car tax, bill payments, mail redirection and much more.

Full training will be provided however previous experience in a Post Office position is essential. Other duties include willingness to work with and assist our retail colleagues when required.

Ensure punctuality and personal appearance are at the highest standard at all times and all areas are to be kept clean, tidy and adhere to all safety/security practises. Full CRB check will be required.

Must be available for evenings and weekends Post Office trading hours are Monday to Saturday 9am to 10pm, Sunday 12pm to 4pm

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-16 per week

Salary: £10.42-£12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Retail sales: 2 years (preferred)
• Post Office Clerk: 1 year (preferred)
