Location: Belfast (hybrid with 2-3 days from home)

Are you from a military or defence security background with a good knowledge of security documentation, and looking for a different challenge? Note: This role is not Physical or site security.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing the authoritative guidance to project teams on Security Grading Guides (SGGs), Security Aspects Letters (SALs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
• Work with the project team to identify any potential Business Critical Information Assets (BCIA)
• Ensure IT systems are assured/accredited by the correct authority including the production of Risk Management and Accreditation Documents Sets (RMADS) including HMG IS1 & 2
• Creation and maintenance of Project Security Management Plans
• Act as the point of contact within the project and liaison between the Local Security Contact (LSC) and Corporate Security Office (CSO)
• Ensure all Project/Bid staff are aware of latest HMG and Company security requirements relevant to the project and implement as necessary
• Be responsible for documenting and managing security risks within the project/bid
• Be responsible for determining the classification of data processed or stored as part of project activities, or data that will processed / stored as a result of the project

Key Requirements:

• Experience working in the defence sector - this would be suited to a service leaver with a security background, i.e. Protective Security
• Alternatively proven experience in a project security role where you’ve created and maintained project security management plans
• Current, valid SC level security clearance
• Understanding and awareness of HMG security requirements

Security Clearance statement
