Role Overview & Responsibilities
Nutrition Advisor - Band 3 - 22.5 hours per week - Permanent
Do you have an interest in helping families to adopt healthy lifestyles? Are you passionate about eating well and cooking on a budget? Do you have experience of working with families to engage and support them to make healthy changes? If so, then we would love to hear from you!
The successful candidate will join the well-established and highly regarded Children's Nutrition Team. A key part of the role will be delivery of the 10 week multi-component JUMPS4Life Family Weight Management programme, which is delivered to families with children aged from 4 to 16 years. In addition, the candidate will support the wider work of the team including:
- Delivery of training to the children's workforce in Tameside - across health, social care, education and voluntary organisations
- Delivering the Award schemes in place across Tameside Early Year settings, schools and children's homes
- Delivering the Cook4Life programme
