Job description

This is a great opportunity for a receptionist to join our friendly team at Tamar Vets. The position will involve working from both our Bude and Holsworthy branches.

Applicants must be computer literate, have excellent customer service skills, a friendly manner and be able to deal with the public both face to face and over the telephone. They will have the ability to work under pressure and use their own initiative whilst being guided by practice protocol. Previous veterinary experience is preferred but not essential.

You will be responsible for: Being the "face of the practice, Welcoming clients into the building, Managing the reception area, Answering telephones, Actively promoting the products and services of the practice, Accurately recording client and animal information on our IT system, Taking client payments and cashing up, Making Appointments.

Proposed hours are 32.5 a week, normal shifts are 830am to 430pm or 9am to 5pm the rota includes one late finish per week ( 7pm) and alternate Saturday mornings ( 9am to 1pm)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £17,500.00-£19,500.00 per year
