Appleton’s is a well-established traditional pork butcher and pie maker with shops in Ripon, Wetherby, Boroughbridge, and Knaresborough. We’ve been selling quality meat from our Ripon shop since 1867. Selling a wide range of fresh pork, hams, sausages and of course our legendary pork pies. Appleton’s commitment to quality and good value remains unchanged.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Food Production Assistant to work in our busy Ripon factory. The ideal applicant will have experience in a kitchen or bakery environment.

The role involves assisting in the preparation of our full range of products including pies, ready meals, BBQ meals and cooked meats. You must be hardworking, reliable and have excellent attention to detail to ensure quality and consistency. Willing to comply with company policies relating to Health and Safety, Hygiene standards and cleaning.

This role is full time 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday, however some flexibility is required. You must be able to work longer hours in the run up to Christmas.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
