Linux Engineer

Linux engineer required for a world-leading SaaS company who build software to supply the global logistics industry.

Our client has recently made a transition from Windows to Linux hence the need for a number of Linux Engineers to come onboard and support that journey.

This role will involve managing the Linux infrastructure across both our core function and our wider business units, handling a mix of operational support and projects mainly around migrations and new deployments. You will also be engaged in the installation, configuration and maintenance of the client’s infrastructure as well as monitoring their system on a day to day basis!

The role would be ideal for someone who wants to work in a rewarding collaborative environment where you can make a difference to a global organisations infrastructure while learning and developing your skillset further.

They are looking for someone with:

• Experience with automation
• Confident with scripting
• Deployment tools (Puppet/Jenkins/Python/Ansible)
• 3+ years of Linux based system engineering.
• RedHat or Ubuntu
