Casual Athletics Coach

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Stockport Grammar School is seeking to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and committed individual who has the capacity to coach and deliver lessons and Extra Curricular activities in Athletics on a casual (hourly rate of pay) basis throughout the week and during weekends.

It is essential that those who apply for this role have experience of working with children at a secondary age level. Those individuals who can demonstrate an ability, and/or have past experience of delivering athletics provision to this age group will be at a distinct advantage.

SGS aspires to cement its position as a leading sporting school in the region and is looking to excel further whilst delivering a broad and balanced curriculum. The department is well resourced and supported. This is a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate.

If you are passionate about athletics, have ambitions for a future in sport or have a good pedigree of sports coaching and (or) competition experience, then this part time and flexible position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your career working alongside a talented and dedicated PE department in a school with excellent sporting facilities.
