Maths Tutor

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Steps4Success Maths Academy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maths Tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-on-one and group Maths tutoring to students of all ages and abilities, both in-person and online.

Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality Maths tutoring to students, both in-person and online
• Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to the needs of each individual student
• Building rapport with students to create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Evaluating student progress and adjusting teaching methods as needed
• Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and progress
• Communicating with parents/guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress

Requirements:

• A Level in Maths or a related field
• Proven experience as a Maths Tutor, with a track record of improving students' grades and confidence
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students
• A dynamic and engaging teaching style that encourages student participation and active learning
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• The right to work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS check

The rate of pay for this role is £20 per hour for one-on-one tutoring and £30 per hour for group lessons.
