Role Overview & Responsibilities

Job Description
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Required Skills
· Knowledgeable in creating and editing CNC Programs for Vertical Machining Centers(with 4thAxis or Trunnion), Horizontal Machining Centers and 5 axis machines with the use of MasterCAM software.
· Knowledgeable in Setups of CNC machine with Fanuc and Haas Controls.
· Highly proficient in print reading.
· Must have high level of knowledge in ASME Y14.5
· Must have high level of knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for English and Metric system.
· Knowledgeable in various methods of inspection to perform quality checks on the parts.
· Must be detail oriented
· Able to work quickly and efficiently without the need of supervision.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for reading and interpreting prints. Should be able to program per the requirement of the Drawing and/or Purchase Order.
· Responsible for laying out process that is economical and sound.
· Responsible for designing fixtures that would yield repeatable and reproducible parts.
· Responsible for choosing the correct cutting tool.
· Responsible for designing Form or custom tools for higher efficiency in manufacturing.
· Supports and assists setup personnel/ machine operators during production.
· Work with other departments in troubleshooting any issues that may arise during manufacturing.
· Responsible for maintaining a safe, efficient and clean working environment
Education / Experience
· The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years’ experience as a CNC Programmer.
· The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years’ experience as a CNC Setup personnel.
· Must have experience in machine shop practices and/or techniques and good knowledge of
cutting tools, ability to design necessary tooling, process and fixturing.
· Must be familiar with cutting a wide variety of materials including various exotic alloys,
aluminum, steel, and plastic.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
