Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Singl-end Café Bakehouse are seeking a baker to come in to join our kitchen team at the Singl-end. Since our opening we have successfully grown our business and kitchen team, we are now to expand our bakery offering and are looking to hire someone who can compliment what has already been achieved and help the bakery offering going forward. Our bakery is based on using locally sourced ingredients and baking to traditional and contemporary recipes which allow the quality of ingredients to shine and is heavily vegan and gluten free influenced.

Ideal candidate should have an interest bread and cake making, with experience being highly desirable although training for the role will be given. The most important skill set in any successful candidate will be a willingness to learn, attention to detail, and reliability. English language skills are essential and a current elementary (or higher) food hygiene certificate would be helpful, although training will be provided.

Hours of work: Full time (30-45hrs a week) with hours dependant upon business needs and kitchen rota.
