Role Overview & Responsibilities

Production Operators – Merchanting Operations

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Merchanting Operations arm of the business for two Production Operators to join the team at our Head Office in Berwick-upon-Tweed. These are full-time, permanent roles working an average 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Tasks:

• Prepare for and perform manufacturing operations, activities and tasks as assigned.
• Follow all relevant company standards, procedures and safe working practices.
• Perform regular equipment maintenance.
• Repair and clean the equipment and production area.
• Monitor and control the process operation.
• Perform inspection and testing operation/task/activity.
• Manage, check and control materials in your area of responsibility.
• Effective handover of operations
• Operate ancillary equipment/transport material including forklift trucks and industrial vehicles.
• Maintain a clean as you go policy in all areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the business.
