HGV Class 1 Driver - Days (4 on 4 off)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Simon Gibson Transport are looking to recruit a HGV C+E driver to operate in a 4 on 4 off Days position based out of our Chatham base.

Our company operates nationally throughout multiple depots, serving our customer base within the Bulk Powder Industry via a fleet of bulk powder tankers.

Duties include (but not limited to):

1. Performing vehicle checks at the beginning of every shift.

2. Responsible for the safe & efficient loading and delivering of product on behalf of our customers.

3. Basic administration of paperwork & POD's.

4. Liaising with Planners with regards to future work and updating of any delays.

5. Adhering to Road Transport Compliance and managing own Tachograph hours.

Guaranteed 10 hrs per day - £14.06 / hour.

Overtime applicable afterwards - £18.89 / hour.

Nights out - £25 / night out (Tax Free)

Meal Allowance - £5 / day (Tax Free)

London delivery bonus - £9 / delivery

Bulk tanker experience preferred, but not essential as training will be given. If interested please forward your CV for the attention of Ashton Nottingham.
