Job Title: Food Technologist

Location: Derbyshire

Salary: c £22-28k

This a great opportunity for a Food Technologist to join a talented Technical team, they are looking for someone who wants a career in technical and wants to develop their skills. Super opportunity for someone who has some experience and wants the next step!

The Company:

• Supplier of branded and own label products into all major retailers

The Role:

• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of all food safety, quality, and hygiene procedures across the site.
• Assist the Technical Manager in preparing the site for all external and internal auditing and accreditation.
• As part of the HACCP team, you will enforce a strong HACCP culture and train on CCPs and check all related paperwork is up to date.
• Deliver training on all food safety matters including the policies and procedures.

The Person:

• Degree educated in Food Science, Food Technology or similar
• 1+ year experience in a food technical role
• Knowledge of HACCP, Auditing, Food Safety.
• Excellent communication skills, well organised and a resilient strong work ethic
