Warehouse Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Due to company expansion, Scenery Solutions are looking to recruit additional staff for our busy and fast-paced warehouse. Applicants will be required to accurately pick and prepare theatrical scenery, backcloths and props, and then safely pack and load these items onto our fleet of vehicles. When hires are returned, duties include unloading vehicles, check-in, inspection and storage of items.

No previous experience is required as full training will be provided, but an interest in theatre would be an advantage. This role involves manual handling of large and awkward scenic items, so applicants will require the physical ability to be able to lift, move and pack large/awkward items.

Basic computer skills are essential to this role as our internal hire management system is computer based. Training will be provided on this system.

Applications must have a full UK driving license and be willing to drive large vans (B category). C1 driving license entitlement is also an advantage for this role but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate. Occasional daytime deliveries/collections will be required with the possibility of early starts or late finishes. Overtime is also available for evening and weekend deliveries/collections.

Salary: £20,500.00-£22,000.00 per year
