Housekeeper - Care Home

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper to join our team at Stanley Wilson Lodge Care Home in Saffron Walden, Essex.

Excelcare is a family-owned care home group established for over 30 years. Offering great care every day is central to everything we do.

What to expect:

• Salary: £10.65 to £11.25 per hour depending on experience
• 45 hours a week including alternate weekends
• Shifts from 8am – 5pm x 5 times a week

Main Accountabilities:

• Be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the home for the people living in our service and our staff team.
• Be responsible for maintaining a hygienic, safe, and pleasant environment for the people we care for, staff and visitors.
• Ensure there are adequate stocks of cleaning products available and re-order when required.
• Work within set budgets.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is safely used and kept in good working condition.

About you:

• Keen eye for detail
• Good supervisory skills
• Previous experience in a similar setting (desirable)
