Night Shift Warehouse Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Shift Pattern: Sun-Thurs 18:00-02:00

This is a role which involves working nightshift in a warehouse focused role. There is a mixture of both warehouse and admin related tasks. There will also be an element of driving involved as and when required

Responsibilities:

• Working in a busy warehouse environment you will work in all areas of the operation.
• Unloading, receiving, sorting, picking orders
• Carry out shift handovers and brief team members as required.
• Manage and assist the inspection of all deliveries and ensure they are recorded correctly on the business operational systems.
• Ensuring the safe unloading / loading of product from vehicles.
• Ensuring the despatch of all jobs.
• Picking customers’ orders from one unit to a trailer load.
• Ensure trunks are ready to depart on time.
• Processing customer returns, ensuring accuracy and the product is correctly located to the relevant locations and returned to them.
• Ensuring the warehouse is kept to a clean standard at all times
• Sorting driver paperwork and finalising routes on EPOD system
• Reporting discrepancies to customers
• Problem solving when issues occur like late vehicles, call off’s etc

Essential Skills

• Full UK Driving License
• Forklift Operating Experience
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Computer skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £12.42 per hour
