Role Overview & Responsibilities

Who will you be working for?

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading timber frame manufacturing and erection company. Based in Margate, the business is well established and has a large diverse customer base throughout the United Kingdom.

What will you be doing?

You will be part of a team manufacturing roof trusses, under the guidance of the factory manager. General duties including but not limited to.

• Keeping working areas clean and tidy
• Picking materials
• Sorting and packing materials
• Following H&S procedures
• Maintain good quality control
• Using tools (skill saw, nail gun, hammer)
• Using machinery (Truss Press)

About you?

• Previous experience in similar sector ideal
• Ability to work well with others and independently
• Good time keeping and dependability
• Able to work overtime when required
• Good verbal communication skills
• Able to read basic manufacturing drawings

Working hours

07.00 - 16.00 (Monday-Thursday)

07:00 – 12:00 (Friday)

Overtime available

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £6.83-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus scheme
