Warehouse Manager

Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are currently seeking Warehouse Manager to join our business and lead our warehouse operations. Our warehouse plays a crucial role in delivering Cardboard boxes, Mailing bags, Grip seal bags, Paper bags, Padded Envelopes, Bubble wrap, Address Labels, Parcel tapes, Board envelopes, Commercial Envelopes, tissue paper, and many more products for packaging needs to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about managing warehouse operations and optimizing processes and the efficiency of the operations.

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
• Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Ensuring products are stocked correctly and safely
• Processing orders and planning the dispatching of products
• Maintaining computerised admin (often in spreadsheet form)
• Prepare annual budget
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
• Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
• Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

Skill & Experience Required

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Qualification Required

Bachelor &/Master’s degree or a related study and experience

Experience Required: 1-2 Years

Salary: £27,000 per Annum
