Hygiene Operative

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Working Monday - Thursday 16.30pm - 03.00am

£25 attendance bonus, equates to £10.12 per hour

Main Responsibilities:

· Clear, wash, sanities, foam and fog machinery, equipment and factory premises as appropriate to prevent contamination.

· Ensure safe working environment whilst carrying out cleaning duties.

· Adhere to factory cleaning schedules on a daily basis.

· Complete records and documentation as appropriate.

· Identify improvements to hygiene working practices and procedures.

· Ensure work area is orderly and clean at all times.

· Maintain food hygiene and safety standard and strictly observe Health and Safety rules and regulations including wearing of correct PPE at all times.

· Carry out work elsewhere in the factory when required.

Preferred skills and/or qualifications:

· Experience of working in a hygiene role in food manufacturing environment

· Good communication skills.

· Approved Food Hygiene Training is desirable

· HACCP training or knowledge.

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good team player – respond positively to instructions and procedures, gets along with the team to create a good working environment.

• Overtime

Experience:

• cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
• janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• driving license (preferred)
