JOB TITLE: Engine Builder Department: ENGINES

RESPONSIBILITY: Engineering, Production

Radical Sportscars is the world’s largest manufacture and constructor of dedicated track-day and racing cars, with a global customer base of owner-drivers supported by dealers in over 32 territories. With the continued development of our global race championship framework, we are looking to recruit a Trainee Engine Technician.

Reports to: Engines Area Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working as part of a close-knit team
• The assembly of SR1 &SR3 Powertrains alongside our new SR10 four-cylinder, V6 turbocharged and V8 race engines for Radical’s range of sports-racing cars, as well as the:
• Strip down, inspection, servicing, and reassembly of customer units.
• A high degree of accuracy and detail is essential in the preparation of these racing powerplants, delivered to customers across the world.
• Dyno testing and running-in of new and refurbished engines, and
• Support of Radical’s on-track activity at its UK and European racing events.
• International travel is likely with experience in support of customer and distributor track programmes globally.

• Good hand eye co-ordination
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude to getting things right first time
• Is a team player
• Can follow verbal and written instructions
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Have a passion for motorsport and Automotive industry.
• Strong attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £11.50 per hour
