We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Product Design Intern. This internship program offers an immersive learning experience for 3-12 months, during which the you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our procurement platform. Working closely with our Product Design Team, you will collaborate on various pitches aimed at improving user experience and overall product design. You will be positioned within the Buyer experience channel and become a key part of the Buyer Tribe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of design documentation, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual design assets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and UI/UX designers, to gather requirements and develop design solutions.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance user experience and overall product design.
  • Conduct user research and analysis to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create user-centered designs that align with business goals, user needs, and industry best practices.
  • Develop interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
  • Assist in usability testing and user feedback sessions to validate design decisions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to product design.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • Strong passion for user-centered design and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Basic understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing.
  • Knowledge of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively articulate design concepts and decisions.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
  • Prior experience with web or mobile app design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts is a plus.
