Warehouse Operative - Pick Team (LLOP)

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Reporting into the Shift Manager, this role is based in Bedford. You will be responsible for the smooth running of warehouse responsibilities.

Hours of work: Sunday - Thursday 17:30 - 02:00

Pay & Benefits

• £26,200.00 Per annum
• Eligible for profit sharing yearly bonus (The more profit the company makes the more we all can earn in bonus - this is uncapped!)
• Overtime is paid at time and a half

Job description

• Current MHE licences (LLOP / Reachtruck) - “ESSENTIAL”
• Picking, packing and loading of goods, ready for dispatch
• Report any issues
• Follow quality service standards & comply with company procedures & policies
• Warehouse maintenance - Ensuring the smooth dispatch & accurate and timely loading of vehicles
• Supporting in maintaining a presentable work area “Clean as you go”

The ideal candidate will be/have -

• Proven working experience as a warehouse operative
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices & methods
• Good organisational & time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Strong communication skills for both internal and external stakeholders
• Creative problem solving
• IT literate
• Attention to detail
• Passionate & driven
• Work well independently and within in a team environment
