Full Job Description
Prestwick Care are currently recruiting for a Care Assistant. Prestwick Care is a successful, family run
business. We are a top care home provider based in the Northeast of England. This is an amazing

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the provision of care.
• Work as part of a team to achieve the required standards.
• Ensure the residents retain their dignity and individuality.
• Observe care planning needs for Residents.
• Assist in the framework of the Residents’ social activities.
• Responsible for the upkeep of Residents hygiene, ensuring safety and facilitating social-

emotional support.
What we are looking for:

• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge and experience of health and safety legislation.
• Genuine interest in working within the care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes.
• Satisfactory DBS check and check against the ISA list (where applicable).
