Cleaning Supervisor Amazon Warehouse

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Within this role the successful candidate will be supervising a team of cleaners to deliver excellent standards across site, completing paperwork, following H & S standards and best ways of working.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of the site.
• Carry out cleaning tasks to the highest standard according to company training.
• Cleaning duties as directed within the building.
• Use / maintenance of cleaning machinery.
• Replenishment and control of cleaning stocks and materials.
• Ability to lead the team to reach goals and maintain standards.
• Inducting & training new staff, with support.
• Recording staff details on company’s database. (Absences etc.)
• Ensuring staff are using timekeeping system for all shifts at all times.
• Ensuring site is covered due to sickness or absence at all times

Essential Criteria:

· Flexible approach to work and training with regards to times and days worked including weekends.

· Cover shifts as and when needed.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under own initiative.

• 6 months or more experience in a similar role.

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous cleaning supervisory experience.
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above or equivalent.

Hours of work: Up to 40 per week, extra hours when needed to meet business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.50 per hour
