Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to work with a variety of fabrics and materials. The Tailor will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and sewing garments to meet customer specifications. We are looking for someone who is creative, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and mark fabric for cutting.
• Cut fabric pieces according to pattern specifications.
• Sew pieces together to create garments.
• Adjust and alter garments as needed.
• Press garments using an iron or steamer.
• Inspect finished garments for quality assurance.
• Provide customer service and advice on garment selection.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bushey: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Sewing: 3 years (preferred)
