Laboratory Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

PG Assist is a specialist managed service provider and we provide laboratory, admin and misc. support services for a large, highly respected blue chip company, who create branded goods and services across the Globe.
This is an excellent opportunity to join our forward thinking and dynamic organisation in a laboratory based role.

Description of work:-

• Provision of analytical data, to check products are on specification.
• Analysis of developmental products using physical and chemical test methods.
• Analysis of sample stability.
• Analysis of samples using various analytical systems, both manual and automated.
• Analysis of perfumes and products containing perfume.
• Support and maintenance of labs and equipment.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• A strong science background/education. (wet chemistry, chromatography, spectroscopy)
• Good record keeping essential.
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Experience working with IT systems and software.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• The ability to work as part of a team is essential.
• The ability to work independently and deliver towards deadlines.

Salary: £20,319.00 per year
