Garden Nursery Assistant

Role Overview & Responsibilities

Peacocks Nursery are looking for a part time garden nursery assistant.

Job Role:

• Complete customer sales and transactions using the till system.
• Assist with the day to day running of the nursery.
• General housekeeping/ keeping it clean and tidy.
• Watering and general plant care.
• Pricing, displaying, and rotating stock.
• Propagation of plants.
• Learn how to take cuttings, pot, and care for a plant.
• Report to manager for other duties.
• Advising customers on plants care and resolve any queries.

Applicants must be available to work weekends and bank holidays, when required.
Previous customer service experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

Salary: From £10.50 per hour
